The Los Santos Police Department, fall under the San Andreas State Police along with the Blaine County Sheriff's Office the San Andreas State Troopers and the San Andreas Department of Corrections makes up the executive branch of Los Santos; together they ensure that the law is upheld and enforced.
History
Established in 1889, the Los Santos Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency of the Los Santos Metro Area. While their primary area of concern is the southern half of the state of San Andreas, they hold jurisdiction in the whole State. Formerly headquartered in the Mission Row Police Department, The LSPD and the rest of the San Andreas State Police moved to a new headquarters at newly renovated Vespucci Police Department located on the western side of Los Santos. (latest move in 2026 — returned to Mission Row Police Department after renovation and digital modernisation)

To protect the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety.

Requirements
- Clean criminal record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing physical and psychological assessment
- Completion of LSPD Academy
